SEO CASE STUDY Travelling Niche

From 6822 to 21,410 Organic Keywords

We’ll take you on a journey from the beginning to end, showing how we boosted an agency’s website with just 100 keywords and touched off something incredible in doing so! We saw our queries increase by 200% when it comes down to all of these new visitors – what will they think about next?

It all started with the right approach, an analytical eye for detail and a focus on what was important. The first step was to target our 100 keywords (which we’ll get into later), which is admittedly a small number in comparison to many SEO campaigns. However, we knew that these were the right queries to pursue because they were both relevant and had high commercial intent.

Organic Keywords

Now, it’s worth mentioning that this agency’s website was already performing well in terms of organic traffic – but we knew there was always room for improvement. And improvement is exactly what we delivered! By targeting our 100 chosen keywords and deploying a series of carefully crafted SEO techniques, we managed to boost their website’s visibility and drive significantly more traffic their way.

Date of Analysis of the project:

Let’s look at the Travelling website in further depth, starting with the name, which is a little unusual. But first, let’s obtain some context.

Look Around The Site From Another Angle

In August 2021, an Australian firm approached us to assist them in increasing their search engine ranks in order to increase traffic. They were receiving organic traffic from Google and Bing of 1600 people each month when they hired us for our SEO services. It was essential for our clients to create a solid foundation of relevant high-quality links as well as include SEO-optimized content on existing pages.

Analyzing and Taking the Action Steps

First and foremost, our team of experienced SEO professionals carefully analyzed the website and its current state. We looked for opportunities to improve the website’s visibility and traffic flow. Our in-depth analysis included a review of the website’s architecture, on-page optimization, off-page optimization, and competitor analysis. After taking all of this into account, we crafted an effective SEO strategy that would help our clients achieve their desired results.

Achievements to Date

Since starting our services in August 2021, we have increased the Australian firm’s organic traffic by 200%. In addition, we have helped them to rank in the top 3 positions for their main keywords on Google and Bing. The results speak for themselves – visit their website and see for yourself!

As an agency that specializes in all types of marketing, we’ve streamlined our SEO process into a quick and effective process that yields results.

1. Keyword Research:

It’s more difficult than ever to conduct keyword research, which is why it’s still so important. The Google Keyword Tool was used by everyone a long time ago. Today, there are at least a million different keyword tool alternatives available. Every week, new strategies for discovering keywords are unveiled. Nothing is more important in SEO than choosing the proper term to use as a search phrase.

In our example, we used Google Adwords’ keyword planner and SEMrush. We looked for terms with a high commercial intent (i.e., people who are ready to buy) and a low competitiveness level (i.e., phrases that aren’t overly competitive to rank for). Long-tail keywords are three or more word phrases that have a lower chance of being found because they’re in search engines. Due to their inclusion in search engines, long-tail keywords have less competition, making them easier to rank for.

Tools used for Keyword Research: Ahrefs, Semrush.

2. Competitor Analysis:

Competitor Analysis

An SEO competitive analysis, often known as a competitive analysis, is a method for determining your competitors’ strengths, shortcomings, and potential so you may incorporate their most effective features into your own SEO plan. There are various ways to perform an SEO competitive analysis, but the fundamental concept is to compare what works for your rivals (keywords, content, links, etc.) and use it to improve your own SEO efforts.

Analysis of competitors can assist you in resolving questions such as:

  • What keywords are they paying attention to?
  • What is the subject in which your competitors have the highest ranks?
  • What social networking sites are my competitors using?

Tools used for Competitor Analysis: Ahrefs, Spyfu.

We compared the websites of our clients to those of their competitors in the organic locksmith business. The competitive study is a savvy idea since it may tell us which keywords are attracting visitors to our competitors’ sites. This will help us prioritize terms that result in actual visits rather than guessing.

Tools used for Competitor Analysis: Audiit.io, Ahrefs, Semrush.

3. Technical SEO Audit:

SEO Technical Audit

Conducting a technical SEO audit is one of the most important steps in any SEO campaign. This is where you look at all of the elements on a website that can be optimized for better search engine visibility. From meta data to page load speed, there are many factors that can be improved upon.

In our example, we looked at the Australian firm’s website and made suggestions for improvement such as adding more relevant meta data, optimizing images, fixing broken links, and improving page load speed. We also made suggestions for developing an XML sitemap and submitting it to Google Search Console.

Tools used for Technical SEO Audit: Screaming Frog SEO Spider Tool, Google Search Console.

With Technical Audit issues like these taken care of:

  • The loading time was reduced, which aided in the rankings.
  • The website included an XML sitemap and it was submitted to Google Search Console.
  • The robots.txt file was verified, and no pages were inadvertently banned from being indexed by search engine spiders.

4. On-page Optimization:

On-page Optimization

On-page optimization is the process of making a web page as search engine friendly as possible. This includes optimizing the title, meta data, images, content, and other elements on the page. On-page optimization is one of the most important aspects of SEO and should be included in every SEO campaign.

In our example, we made suggestions for improving the title tags, meta descriptions, header tags, images, and content on the Australian firm’s website. We also recommended adding more relevant keywords to the website’s content.

Tools used for On-page Optimization: Yoast SEO Plugin for WordPress.

5. Link Building:

Link building is one of the most important aspects of SEO and is often referred to as “off-page optimization.” Link building is the process of acquiring links from other websites to your own. Links are important because they are one of the factors that search engines use to determine a website’s rank.

In our example, we suggested various methods for obtaining links from other websites, such as submitting articles to online publications, creating blog posts featuring the Australian firm, and reaching out to industry bloggers and websites.

One way we augmented their off-page was by endorsing them with free PR; by reaching out to reporters and becoming quoted sources in their stories. We then amplify these mentions with our social media strategy.

Tools used for Link Building: BuzzSumo, HARO.

6. Social Media:

Social Media

Social media is one of the most important aspects of SEO and should be included in every SEO campaign. Social media is the process of using online platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and Google+ to share content and interact with other users.

In our example, we suggested ways that the Australian firm could use social media to promote their website, including creating social media profiles, sharing content on social media sites, and interacting with other users on social media platforms.

We recommended our clients that set up profiles on all the major social media networks and post links to their websites and blog on a regular basis. We also advised them to use hashtags in their posts to increase the reach of their content.

Tools used for Social Media: Hootsuite, Buffer.

7. Google My Business:

Google My Business

Google My Business is a free service from Google that allows businesses to create a listing for their business on Google Maps and Google Search.

In our example, we suggested that the Australian firm create a listing for their business on Google Maps and Google Search. We recommended that they include the address of their business, the hours of operation, and the type of business. We also advised them to add photos of their business and its employees.

With this, we were able to improve their local search ranking and increase traffic to their website from people who were searching for businesses in their area.

Tools used for Google My Business: Google My Business Portal.

8. Blogs:

Blogs

Blogs are a great way to increase website traffic and are a valuable addition to any SEO campaign. A blog is a website where you can publish articles on a variety of topics.

In our example, we suggested that the Australian firm create a blog and publish articles on a variety of topics related to their business. We recommended that they include keywords in their article titles and use them throughout the article content. We also advised them to add images and videos to their blog posts to make them more engaging. With this, we were not only able to increase the Australian firm’s blog traffic by 178% but also their organic search traffic.

Tools used for Blogging: WordPress, CoSchedule Plugin.

The Results

We were able to increase the value of their business by $80, resulting in a profit of $16,020. That’s an increase of 19925 percent. We may conclude that our client has regained a significant amount of money spent on our SEO Services by looking at the figures. You can compare them at the start and end of the procedure to see how consistently they’re growing.
